    LOCATION:  Sarasota


    QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major course work includes the study of human behavior and development).  In addition, a minimum of 1-year of full time or equivalent experience working with children experiencing serious mental illness is required.  If an individual has a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related human services field, a minimum of three years working with children experiencing serious mental illness is required.


    POSITION SUMMARY:This is a professional position that provides target case manager services children with severe and persistent mental illness. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, service planning, linkage, coordination of the various system components, monitoring service delivery, and evaluating the effect of the service delivery.  The position reports directly to the Director of South County Services.
