    LOCATION: Sarasota and North Port

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a High School diploma or GED, with 1-3 year’s medical or behavioral health experience. Certification as Behavioral Health Tech. (BHT) or eligible for certification by the Florida Certification Board is preferred.  Knowledge and skills evaluating a co-occurring population is preferred.

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:  This is a support position that functions as part of a team, assisting nursing staff and psychiatrists with managing day-to-day clinic responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient environment.  Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills along with excellent organizational skills.  Must have excellent knowledge of computer and software programs and demonstrate those skills with proficiency, including good typing ability.  Excellent customer service skills required.  Must be able to maintain company and client confidentiality.  Must be able to greet and interact effectively with clients, other medical team providers, and inter-company staff.  Must be task oriented and be able to manage a number of activities and priorities at one time.   This position reports directly to the OPM Practice Manager or Designee.
