FLORIDA ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT (FACT) TEAMS
FACT teams are based on the evidence-based model of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) for individuals with a severe and chronic mental illness.
FREE healthy lifestyle classes are offered for adults age 55 and older in various community settings such as public libraries, retirement communities, and recreation centers throughout Sarasota County.
THE KREISMAN CENTER CRISIS STABILIZATION UNIT (CSU)
The Kreisman Center CSU in Sarasota provides emergency services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to individuals age 18 and older who are experiencing a severe emotional or psychiatric crisis.
MENTAL HEALTH COURT
The goal of the Mental Health Court program in Lee County is to provide appropriate treatment and rehabilitation options to adults with a history of mental health problems who are charged with a misdemeanor crime excluding DUI, domestic violence and battery.
OUTPATIENT CARE COORDINATION
The goal of care coordination is to assist individuals in accessing medical, social, educational, and other services that reflect the needs, preferences, strengths and goals of each individual.
OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication prescription and monitoring are provided by Board Certified psychiatrists or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) supervised by Board Certified physicians.
These services include individual and group treatment for mental health and/or substance abuse problems.
WOMENS SUBSTANCE ABUSE
This program offers outpatient treatment services specifically tailored to the needs of pregnant women and women with dependent children who struggle with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
