While the job is never done, we succeed every time a family is reunited, a person with mental illness is stabilized and returns to work, or a child threatening suicide is saved. We celebrate every time an individual becomes a self-sufficient, productive and satisfied member of our community.  Since 1994, Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. has maintained accreditation through the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Every three years, organizations are surveyed to maintain accreditation. Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation providing mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice, prevention and intervention services for children, adolescents, adults, seniors and their families in Sarasota, DeSoto, Charlotte and Lee Counties.
